Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is also a province that rich in tourist spots and culture. And to show their treasures to the whole world, the locals of Ilocos Sur conceived a festival called "Kannawidan Festival" that show and presents their cultural traditions.
Many people are going here in Ilocos to join, watch or see the different activities and contest during the festival. One of the best activities in Kannawidan is the "Pinaka" where the locals exhibit their farm and fishery products. Another activity is the "Saniata iti Ilocos" where beautiful ladies from different municipalities showcase their beauty and talents and compete for the crown. There were also celebrities and bands visiting and coming here to perform.
