     All of us live in this beautiful world with own personality. We are born to be with our own skills, abilities, talents and weaknesses. We are human with different personality but we have the equal rights and equal opportunities. It's just depend on everyone of us on how do to and access on it. 

     Many are advocating that equal rights;equal opportunities because that really should be. But in reality there are still some who do not do. In may situation or in many reasons, there are still people who can do it because they are living with limitations. Some people live under the control of high powered individuals.

     For me as a student, I believe that everyone of us have an equal rights and equal opportunities. We must stand for ourselves and stand strong to practice and enjoy our own rights and access to good opportunities. When we say equal rights, equal opportunities...no matter who you are- Boy, Girl, Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender or rich or poor we are all entitled to be equal. Especially in the eyes of our almighty God we are one. 

Arugang Tama, Para sa mga Bata

       Bawat bata ay mahalaga. Bawat nilalang ay may kanya-kanyang ginagampanan sa bawat oras ng ating buhay.

       Mula sa panahong ipinagbubuntis pa ng isang ina ang bata sa kanyang sinapupunan ay nagtataglay na siya ng karapatan.  Kaya mahalaga ang bawat batang isinisilang. Karapatan ng bawat bata na magkaroon ng pangalan at nasyonalidad. Higit sa lahat, ang pagmamahal at wastong pag-aaruga hanggang sa paglaki. Madaling sabihin na mahalaga ang bawat bata pero kadalasan ay may mga mismong magulang ang hindi nakakagawa ng kanilang sariling gampanin sa kanilang mga anak. Kaya laging isinusulong at ipinapalaganap ang lahat ng mga pangaral upang maanyaya at maiparating sa mga magulang at lahat ng kinauukulan ang kahalagan ng pagsasagawa ng tamang pag-aaruga sa bawat bata.

     Ayon sa pag-aaral may iba't ibang karapatan ang bawat batang isinisilang. Pinakauna ay ang magkaroon ng pangalan at nasyonalidad pagkasilang pa lamang. Mabigyan ng sapat na pangangailangan sa bawat araw tulad ng pagkain, tahanan, kasuotan at tahimik at masayang kapaligiran. Karapatan din ng bawat bata na makapag-aral upang sa ganoon ay malinang ang mga pansariling kakayahan tungo sa buhay na maunlad at magandang kinabukasan. Karapatan din ng bawat bata na maipahayag ang sariling opinyon at makibahagi sa anumang bagay na naglalayon na mapabuti ang kanilang kalagayan,.
     

Values.

In the month of November, our country is celebrating the Filipino Values Month. The celebration seek to promote national and great consciousness on unique and positive values--- love of god and country, strong family ties, bayanihan and more.

Values are the roots of traditions that Filipino find important in their day-to-day event. Values formation starts at home. Home as the place of strengthening all the positive and unique values. At home, parents teach their children to say ''po'' and ''opo'' to their elders as a sign of respect.

In our country, we have a lot of good, unique and positive values that made us known in the world. So we must do our best to maintain and preserve them.

English Month 2018: ”Pagbabasa, Susi sa Kinabukasan.”

          Each year we are celebrating the English Month. For the year of 2018, the theme is ”Engaging Challenges through Speech, Reading and Writing in a Healthy Competition.” There are so many contests and activities that are happening on this celebration. 

    The school officially opened the English Month Celebration in the month of November. During the opening, they performed an intermission number and announced the different activities that will happen during the celebration. There's the Speech Choir, Essay-making contest and other fun and challenging activities.

    In our life, reading is very important. Reading is very enjoyable and a very beneficial one. Reading different books and magazines can give us more knowledge. Reading newspaper can make us updated on what is happening on our country. It can also widen our vocabulary range.

    So for us, we must read for us to have and learn new things that can help us  to have a brighter future.

Second Quarter

     During the second quarter period, I learned so many things again. I learned again new things about the Internet, HTML, the tags and many more.

     The posting of our activities in all about tags is one of the interesting activity that we did on this quarter. I also encountered some problems, but despite of that i remained calm and strong and did my best to overcome those challenges.

     Again, All big thanks to God because we surpassed another quarter again.

United Nation; Unity

     Each year, we are celebrating the UN Month that reminds the world of their objective to promote respect human rights, gender equality; the advancement of woman, protecting the environment, fighting disease, reducing poverty and many more.

     The United Nation is an international group or organization that contains many nations including our beloved country, Philippines. They joined all together to prevent and avoid war, promote security and social progress. They also develope friendly relation on the nations around the world.

Science: A helpful one

     Every year, we are celebrating the "Science Month" in our beloved school. There are so many fun and challenging activities and contest during this month and there were also many students that were joining.

     Science is really helpful in our society. This can help any nation to develope faster. This can help man to improve agriculture, pollution control, power generation especially education and many more.

     So we must use Science to overcome problems not to create them.

Our Hero.

     My Teacher My Hero. We all know that teaching is the noblest profession. They touch the lives pupils/students and they are helping the young in searching for their self inclination.

     To give salute and importance to all teachers, we should always celebrate their day because they are special not only to us but also in the society. They contribute a lot of help in the community. Atleast an hour they can relax and enjoy and be happy by just celebrating their day.

     Last October 4, we celebrated the teachers day. We give gifts, letters, perform in the stage and others that serves as a sign of our love and thanksgiving in their sacrifices for us.

     We feel happy by seeing our teachers smile and that the program is worth it. We should love our teacher everyday. They have an important role in our life and the society.

Stand Strong

 

     The Philippines is known as a disaster prone country. The Philippine islands are part of the so called Pacific Ring of Fire and area encircling the Pacific Ocean where earthquakes and volcanic eruption occur because of the movements of tectonic plates or segments of the earth's crust. Average of 20 typhoons a year that may cause too much damage and a big impact in every lives of Filipinos. There are five common disasters that are happening in the Philippines, a typhoon, earthquake, El Nino, La Nina and volcanic eruption.

     Disasters and Calamities can affect our life as a Filipino but it can also serve as a challenge for us to be more stronger and to fight for every problem or hazards that we may encounter.

     We, Filipinos are known to be a resilient despite of all those bad events we are having or have been through. In every struggle, disaster, calamity or anything that made our life in danger, we still stand strong and able to get up being more stronger.

First Quarter

In the first quarter, I learned so many things and lessons. I knew the different components, inventors and importance of internet. I learned how to make a my own blogs account and on how to make and post a blog. And lastly is about Searching Engines, on how to use the different ways and steps on how to search.

I have encountered some problems or obstacles during the said quarter. One is the lack of time because on our other subjects, there are also many requirements to be pass on time so sometimes there are some requirements or outputs that we cant do because we don't have too much enough time to do it. And also sometimes I just want to give up because there are so many requirements and quizes.

It is very challenging but I stand to be strong and confident. Despite all the obstacles/challenges, I did my best to continue the fight and did not stop. Above all, big thank to God.

Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik

     Filipino, ang pambansang wika ng ating lupang sinilangan na pinalabas ni Quezon noong taong 1937 sa ilalim ng kautusang tagapagpaganap Blg. 134. Ito ang nagpalawig ng koneksiyon ng bawat Pilipino sa isa't isa bagamat pulo-pulo ang ating bansa na nagpahirap sa pagkokonekta ng bawat Pilipino. State Of The Nation Address 2018

     Every year we are witnessing the speech or the inspirational message of our dearest President in his SONA/State Of The Nation Address. Words that have full of meaning and importance for every Filipinos.

     For this year, it was not that long for me what our President had given. It was not that long talk but very much appreciated because it covers all and it has a significance in our daily lives. He had done many good things that made our nation improving in many ways. Some people are not happy and disappointed to what he had done but what more important is, he is dong his part and I believed that he just think for the best for his countrymen.

     He talked about Drug War, Corruption, Bangsamoro Law, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), Telecommunication, Disaster Management Warning to Minors and many more. He also talked about Bong Go in relation to consultations with public and establishing "malasakit centers".

     We must respect and appreciate all the things that he is telling and doing to us because he just only want the best for our beloved country.

Nutrtion Month 2018: "Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat Na Nutrisyon Aanihin"

" Health is Wealth. " A simple word but signifies a big part in our life. It emphasizes that having a healthy body and healthy mind makes us live a healthy and happy living.

Every year we celebrate the "Nutrition Month " in every month of July. The celebration always remind us that having a proper and good nutrition keeps our body smart and live a happy live. This years theme of the Nutrition Month Celebration is " Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin". For me, it is a good for us especially the generation that we give importance in planting vegetables and fruits. Start it to our selves and then encourage and mobilize our fellow to do it.

Nowadays, there are some youngsters that are not fun of eating vegetables. They just prefer junk foods, meat and especially those that we can buy to fast food chains. And that practice makes our body become weak and sickly and not being aware of it. So, the best thing that we can do is to be a vegetable lover to practice and apply it everyday for our own good and benefit. Proper nutrition→ good health→ healthy mind and body→ happy and healthy lifestyle.

I am Honey Rane P. Ridao, 14 years old and a Grade 10 student in Ilocos Sur National High School at Vigan City, Ilocos Sur

I made this letter to extend my appreciation to all the good things you are doing for all the Filipinos. Especially the things you've done in the issue about drugs. I know that you've done so many things on it. There are many drug users in our country. Some are scared because of this threat you've said so they voluntarily surrender their selves on the police stations. Some users are still stubborn, they are still hiding until now so you need give actions on it immediately. But many drug users were killed or died because of this war on drugs, their family are still asking for a justice until now.

It is true that drug users in the Philippines are reducing and that's a good thing but about the killing of drugs users is unjustified especially for their family. But still, thank you for the things that you've done on this issue, War On Drugs. You are such a great leader that must be respected because I know that you only want the best for your country men.

I also want you to know that I am doing my best to follow and obey those ordinances that serves for our own good.

Significance of Celebrating Independence Day

Independence Day. One of the most significant event in our country. This is the day that we honor all the heroes who fought for our freedom.

Independence Day is an important event for us to celebrate. This is the day when our heroes finally get the freedom of our beloved country from the hands of the invaders. We celebrate this to remember and thank them for all their hardships and sacrifices. We respect and honor them for their courage to fight the people or  invaders to come and destroy our nation.

Celebrating Independence Day is a need for us to thank and honor all our heroes. We should continue to celebrate this event. We should continue to respect, honor and thank them for all their hardships just to be able to get the freedom of our country.
